Libby Gilden, Matron of Honor

Libby and Kaila met in their 4th-grade classroom and soon began a friendship that would last a lifetime. The two grew up more like sisters and were practically attached at the hip! From sleepovers, swim meets, concerts, and vacations to attending different colleges and living in different states, they have always remained the best of friends. Libby even took Kaila on her first backpacking adventure across Portugal for their Best Friend Graduation Vacation! Now, Libby will be standing closest to Kaila on her next big adventure of saying “I do”.

Natalie Barnwell, Bridesmaid

Although neither grew up there, Augusta brought Natalie and Kaila together in their early 20's while both were working as lifeguards. Over the course of their friendship, Natalie has tried, and mostly succeeded, to teach Kaila to appreciate the finer things in life, like wine and good food! Their bond was built through wine nights, cheesy Peter Kavinsky-esque movies, dancing, and enduring nights out on the town together. Their friendship will withstand any distance life puts between them. Kaila is honored to have Natalie standing with her on her big day.

Lauren Wheeler, Bridesmaid

Lifeguarding brought Lauren and Kaila together in their early 20’s. Shortly after meeting each other on the job, they became close friends through a shared love for fitness, pickles, and immature jokes. Lauren is by far Kaila’s funniest friend – there is never a lack of silly jokes and laughter between the two of them. They have remained incredibly close despite now living in different cities and are always able to pick up where they left off as if no time has passed. Kaila is excited to celebrate this joyous occasion with Lauren.

Marin Johnson, Bridesmaid

In the 4th-grade, Kaila moved into the house down the street from Marin. Kaila was cruising on her bike checking out her new street when Marin came outside to see who this new girl on the block was – once they met, they quickly became inseparable! From then on they conquered elementary school, riding bikes through Hilton Head, swim team activities, and flourishing through college and adulthood. They have been there for each other through life’s ups and downs. Kaila couldn’t imagine celebrating this special day without Marin.

Caitlin Kitsos, Bridesmaid

Caitlin just so happens to be the sister of the groom! Kaila and Caitlin first met when Marshall decided it was time to introduce her to his mother and sister. They met at Mellow Mushroom in downtown Augusta. Kaila was so nervous to meet his family that she didn't even eat any pizza - so sad! There was no reason for her to be nervous because, from the moment they met, Caitlin welcomed her with open arms. Kaila can't wait to gain a sister and have Caitlin share her big day with her!

Scott Caneda, Best Man

Scott and Marshall go way, way back. They first met in Big Caneda's Skate Shop (indeed, Scott and his dad, Frank, supplied goods to the skate scene for a few years – it was a great ride). It wasn't long before they were regular skate rats cruising the streets and skate spots in and around downtown Augusta. Fast forward to recent years, and you might've caught them at the skate park, cautiously cruising around. Marshall couldn't be more pleased and honored that Scott graciously accepted the Best Man position for this huge milestone event!

Brad Runnels, Groomsman

Brad and Marshall have been friends for over a decade. They met at Marshall's first professional gig right after college. While their professional rapport consisted of lots of jokes and laughs, they also got down to business on Augusta's single-track mountain bike trail offerings and made every backpacking trip a memorable excursion. They are well-traveled pals – road trips to New York, San Francisco and wilderness in-between, these guys are known to power through hours-long drives to strange new places. Marshall is excited that Brad has returned the favor serving as a groomsman to kick off a new chapter of adventures.

Nick Kitsos, Groomsman

Nick and Marshall are brothers from different mothers, though this arrangement comes by law of marriage. They share a knack for computers and technology, although, Nick prefers to build his machines, while Marshall tends to lean toward all in one solutions. They met way back when Nick was courting Marshalls sister, Caitlin. Marshall had the honor of being a groomsman for their wedding, and when it came time to select groomsmen for his wedding, it only seemed fitting to invite Nick to join the crew.

Will Gilden, Groomsman

Will and Marshall's friendship is the greenest of the bunch, but no less than a good time is had when these two get together. Linked through Will's bride Libby and Marshall's bride-to-be, Will and Marshall can be guaranteed to be rocking the short shorts and pounding the hard seltzers on boat rides through the intercostal waterway, when the opportunity arises. Marshall is thrilled that Will accepted a groomsman role and is excited for the life chapters yet to be shared.

Wes Black, Groomsman

Wes and Marshall are long-time friends – they first met working at Grovetown's finest roadside restaurant and old country store. Wes brings the hospitality only a southern gentleman could muster, with a touch of class and fine taste. In recent years, Wes' charm banded together a circle of gentlemen who were capable of the finest bachelor-party level shenanigans – which when Marshall was party to the occasion, there was no such thing as upper limits. Marshall is chuffed that Wes will be joining in the festivities, hailing all the way from his new home state, Colorado!
