If you're in need of some fresh air, Augusta's Riverwalk is a great place to get out and stretch your legs. Situated along the Savannah River, the Riverwalk stretches from the 13th Street Bridge all the way down to the 5th Street Bridge.

It's a multi-level path, with the lower level forking around and skirting the edge of the water and the upper level cresting the levee protecting downtown against any future flooding.

Be sure to check out the farmers market if you're in town Saturday morning!
